Local Fallen Heroes of 9/11

50 troops from our area have died in Iraq and Afghanistan since the Sept. 11 attacks.
Banks, 24, of Newport News, died in San Antonio on Nov. 14, 2007 of wounds suffered Oct. 25 in Baghdad. He served in the Army National Guard.
